Linedancer Magazine Watch and Learn

This is the web site of Line Dancer magazine - a good place to read archived articles about line dancing (was it really done by cowboys in the Old West?).

The BWDA 2000 is the UK's "umbrella body" - their web site has details of line dance weekends and dance steps and much more...

This US site sells "the real deal" cowboy boots, hats and accessories.  Ladies' boots go for around $50 (which is around £35, so is cheaper than in the UK!)  They stock men's, womens' and even children's boots (well - how cute is that?)  Remember that US sizes are generally one larger than the UK size - so if you take a 6 in the UK you are likely to need to order a 7 in the US.

Other useful sources of cowboy boots include ebay (where they go from £10 upwards - often in mint condition because people have ordered their UK size from the US).

There are other UK retailers, just try your browser, and if you find a great site, do let us know and we will include a link for other club members.

Thanks to Chris who has found a Bristol-based web site which sells a wide range of cowboy boots and accessories - or you can visit the proprietor in Hengrove.  Prices for boots are around the £60 to £80 mark and Chris says the owner is happy to exchange if something you order doesn't fit.  The site is called Big D's Trading Post:  click here...   Big D's Trading Post

My friend Judie has found a shop in Somerset selling hats, line dance outfits, and boots, their web site is Sandras-West-n-Wear
