Welcome to the “Laughter in Line” Line Dancing Club

Line dancing is a fun and sociable activity that anyone can do. It's suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and you don't need a partner. Our club has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our members chose the club name “Laughter in Line” as it reflects the laughter which inevitably happens each week.

Our club gets together to dance every Thursday, 8pm till 9pm, in Iron Acton Village Hall in South Gloucestershire, UK.  Click the "how to find us" link to see where we are, and get directions.

The club was formed in June 2007 and most dancers would describe themselves as “beginners” - indeed, new beginners join us most weeks.

We do, on average, 5 dances each week, and every dance is taught from scratch, and repeated in successive weeks.   Trickier dances are often summarised on our "steps" page - there is also a button to click to hear the music.   Or follow this link to see This Week's Plan.

We have regular “request” nights where you can vote to do your favourites again – this tells Sarah what dances are most enjoyed so that we can do other enjoyable dances of the same level of difficulty or rhythm.

We also have parties - no teaching, we just put the music on and have a great time dancing!  Have a peek at our pictures!
